Working with people who have experienced domestic abuse

Olwen Kelley

Olwen is the Director of Swindon Women’s Aid, and as well as providing some general information around domestic abuse, she will help us as counsellors explore how best to support clients who are experiencing this.

Prior to her arrival in Swindon in 2012, Olwen was Head of Community Safety and Drugs at South Gloucestershire Council, and a South West Regional Crime and Drugs Advisor for the Home Office. She commenced her career in the Civil Service and spent 17 years working in a variety of central government departments, including Education and Employment and the Home Office.
